Your privacy

How we collect, use, store and protect the personal information you share with us — consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Last updated: July 2026. This policy applies to information collected through this website and in the course of providing migration assistance.

Who we are

AA Migration Group is an Australian migration practice. The Principal Migration Agent is Ashiq Ali Ghazzaly, MARN 1686653, registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA). Our ABN is 70 964 876 654. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to AA Migration Group.

What we collect

Through the enquiry form on this website, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, email address, phone number, the type of assistance you are seeking, your current visa details if you supply them, and the summary of your circumstances you write. If you book a consultation online, we also collect the booking details you enter and the date and time you select.

If you go on to engage us, we may later collect further information necessary to prepare your matter — such as identity documents, immigration history, qualifications, employment details, and correspondence from the Department of Home Affairs. That information is collected directly from you, with your knowledge, and only as needed for your matter.

Why we collect it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to assess your circumstances, to arrange and conduct a consultation, and — if you engage us — to prepare, lodge and manage your migration matter and communicate with you and the relevant authorities on your behalf. We do not use your information for unrelated purposes.

Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship

Submitting the form is an enquiry only. It does not create an agent–client relationship, and no migration advice is provided until a formal engagement is agreed in writing. Please do not send original documents or highly sensitive information through the website form; secure arrangements are provided after initial contact.

How the form works

When you submit the enquiry form, its contents are delivered to us by email through a third-party form-delivery service. That service processes the submission solely to transmit it to us. We recommend you share only what is necessary to describe your enquiry at this stage.

Booking and payment providers

Consultations are booked through a third-party scheduling service, and card payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. When you book or pay, the information you enter (such as your name, email address, phone number and any notes you provide) is handled by those providers in order to confirm your appointment and process your payment.

These providers may store or process information on servers located outside Australia. By booking or paying online you consent to that disclosure. If you would prefer not to use these services, you can contact us by phone or email to arrange an appointment or payment instead.

We do not receive or store your card number. Please do not upload identity documents, health or character information when booking — secure arrangements are made after initial contact.

Disclosure to others

We do not sell your personal information. In the course of acting for you, and with your authority, we may disclose relevant information to the Department of Home Affairs, review bodies such as the Administrative Review Tribunal, skills assessing authorities, or other parties necessary to progress your matter. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. Where information is no longer required and we are not obliged to retain it, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it. Registered migration agents are also required to keep certain client records under the Code of Conduct.

Access, correction and complaints

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request that we correct it if it is inaccurate, or raise a concern about how we have handled it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

A complaint about your migration agent's conduct is separate and can be made to the OMARA. Making a complaint will not affect a current visa application or change the outcome of a previous decision.
